ACTIVITIES
The paths and footpaths of the southern Ardèche between the Rhône Valley and the Ardèche mountain will offer you a variety of landscapes: vineyards, forest massifs, black cliffs of the Coiron plateau.
You may do mountain bike rides, go walking or horse riding on the numerous footpaths between the Coiron plateau and the Barrès communal forest.
From St Lager Bressac, you may visit lots of exceptional sites
The Ardèche gorges, the Ray Pic waterfall, The Loire spring.
Various castles (Rochemaure, Aubenas, Voguë and a bit further Grignan).
Archaeological or prehistoric sites (Soyons, Aven, Orgnac ...)
Churches (the Cruas Abbey, the Viviers Cathedral)
Des Musées 5musée de la Soie, musée du Vivarais protestant, Maison du Châtaignier…)
Many typical villages (Balazuc, Alba la Romaine, La Beaume, Saint Montan ...)
     
Sportsmen/women will have the opportunity to go canoeing on the Eyrieux or on the Ardeche river, paragliding, climbing in Chomérac or in Pouzin.
Caving and canyoning can be done in the southern part of the Ardèche or in the Drôme department, which is nearby.
The Valdaine golf course is located 20 km away from the 'Moulinage' and a riding school is also closeby. The Ardèche department is famous for trout fishing and mushroom collecting.
At the « Moulinage » you may borrow two mountain bikes, play table tennis or pétanque. There is also a tennis court at 800m from the house.
